Working closely with the Head of Finance, the Group Accountant will have responsibility for cash management, external reporting and VAT recovery across multiple entities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, developing and improving accounting processes.

  • Develop and monitor cash flow forecasts, ensuring alignment with financial planning
  • Full responsibility for the submission and review of multiple monthly VAT returns.
  • Perform month-end tasks, reconcile VAT, Payroll, and related balance sheet accounts.
  • Liaise with external auditors and support the team with coordination and production of audit files.

Previous experience is essential:

  • ACA/ACCA Qualified with Chartered Practice background
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment is essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
