Due to their rapid expansion, they are looking for an experienced Management Account toplay a pivotal role in our finance team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monthly Management Accounts: Produce detailed Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss accounts.
  • Variance Analysis: Provide insightful commentary to explain financial variances.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive financial reporting packs.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in creating budgets and forecasts to drive business strategy.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Challenge, support, analyse, and effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Reconciliations: Conduct thorough bank and account reconciliations.
  • Day-to-Day Accounting: Manage posting journals, raise invoices, and perform general bookkeeping tasks.
  • VAT Returns: Handle VAT returns and liaise with HMRC as necessary.
  • Process Optimisation: Develop systems to enhance efficiencies and optimise processes.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in Finance Management (required).
  • Professional Qualification: Qualified or finalist in CIMA, ACCA, or ACA.
  • IT Skills: Proficiency in Excel is essential, experience with Netsuite is desirable.
  • Communication: Strong communicator capable of articulating complex information clearly.
  • Organisation: Highly organised and able to work independently.
  • Teamwork: Collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic environment.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and reporting skills.
