An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT based business who have continued growth in the UK and Europe. This role would suit an Accountant with a proactive and driven attitude looking to continue their professional development in a fast-paced environment with a global outlook.
You will have responsibility for the revenue recognition for a portfolio of their European product lines, analysing their revenue performance against budget and prior periods and liaising with key contacts within the global operational business to ensure accurate reporting.
- Conduct month-end analysis on recognised revenues by customer, identifying and explaining variances to budget/forecast.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Account Managers to monitor revenue performance, ensuring project accuracy.
- Ensure all financial transactions are correctly processed and accurately reflected in the general ledgers.
- Review customer contracts for revenue recognition and system set up.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and reporting variances
- Ensure compliance with internal financial reporting standards.
- Assist with Group and local statutory audits.
- Managing 1 junior Accountant
You will be;
- ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified or equivalent
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
