Management Accountant

Connected is currently partnering with a growing accountancy firm based in Sheffield and Chesterfield, known for its forward-thinking approach and supportive work culture. They are looking for experienced accountants with a background in management accounts and a passion for cloud-based software.

This firm specializes in helping clients fill financial knowledge gaps and providing data-driven insights to improve business decision-making. The role involves a blend of bookkeeping, management accounts preparation, VAT returns, and year-end accounts, alongside working on software projects like Xero conversions and using Power BI for data analytics.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold an AAT qualification (or equivalent)
• Be studying towards or have completed ACA or ACCA certification, though candidates with relevant experience are welcome to apply
• Have at least 2-3 years of practice experience
• Be proficient or interested in accounting software and digital processes
• Possess strong communication and teamwork skills
• Be passionate about delivering excellent client service
• Show a high degree of self-motivation, organization, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
