Your Company:NET Recruit are thrilled to be partnering with an exceptionally successful, nationally acclaimed services business, who are searching for a Senior Internal Audit & Risk Advisor in the Sheffield area. As a house-hold name, this business has seen strong and consistent success for the last few decades and as such, this is a fantastic time to join the team, as they are continuing these growth plans into the next year and are expecting further success to follow.The position holder will be primary performing and reporting on internal audits using a risk-based approach. Additionally, the job holder will be suggesting commercially based solutions that weigh up multiple factors that address the risks presentedRoles & ResponsibilitiesWhile in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Proposing risk-based audits for existing and new risks, whilst seeking Internal Audit management agreement
  • Planning and reporting on risk-based internal audits, ensuring these align with best practice methodology and agree on commercial solutions, taking into consideration benefits and costs against risk
  • Planning and reporting on rapid assurance and advisory reviews that are included in the risk-based plan
  • Conducting follow ups on actions that have been raised from risk-based audits, to include re-testing and closure and agreeing on status updates
  • Managing stakeholder relationships throughout the audit process
  • Delivering agile audits, covering major system implementations and projects
  • Identifying developing areas of risk and ensure these are recognised and mitigated through risk management processes
  • Striving for continuous improvement across the business, creating actions to enhance the Internal Audit and Risk Management effectiveness
  • Preparing reports for the audit and risk committees
  • Organising risk workshops to support the development of the risk registers
What You Will Need To Apply:To be considered for this role, the business is expecting to see candidates who are fully CCAB qualified or equivalent and who have extensive experience within internal audit and risk management, where upon they have worked under professional standards or practice. Candidates must have experience creating data driven audits, centred around analytics and key systems. A solid understanding of data analytics tools such as ACL/IDEA and CAATS is sought after, as well as knowledge of IT and project management frameworks including PRINCE2, Agile, ISO 2700X and COBIT.What You Will Get In Return:For the successful candidate, a base salary of up to £48,000 is on offer.
