Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Group Finance Director, the Systems Accountant will play a vital role in managing and developing financial systems, supporting finance operations, and delivering accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities include:

Administration and maintenance of the Business Central finance system and related platforms such as Jet Hub and PeopleXD (Payroll)
Supporting system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new functionality
Providing end-user support across the business for finance systems
Development and maintenance of key management reports using JET and Insight reporting tools
Working closely with finance and operational teams to improve systems, controls, and processes
Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts and group financial reporting
Supporting statutory reporting and consolidation processes
Providing cover and support across the wider finance team when required

The Successful Candidate Will:

Have experience working in a finance systems or management accounting role
Possess strong technical and systems skills, ideally with exposure to Business Central or similar ERP systems
Be confident working with reporting tools such as JET reporting
Have excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
Be proactive and adaptable with a keen eye for process improvement
