Role Responsibilities
  • Managing a portfolio of personal and trust tax clients, ensuring timely preparation and filing of tax returns
  • Reviewing simple tax returns prepared by junior staff members and providing feedback
  • Preparing forms P11Ds and handling PAYE Settlement Agreements for clients
  • Preparing Capital Gains Tax returns for residential property sales
  • Offering clients a proactive and cost-effective taxation service, including ad-hoc advisory work
  • Assisting managers and partners in researching technical tax issues and drafting advice
  • Supporting and coaching less experienced members of the team to help develop their skills
  • Keeping managers and partners updated on the progress of your work and client portfolios

Candidate Requirements
  • Qualified by experience or be ATT/ACA/CTA qualified or part-qualified
  • At least 2 years’ experience in personal tax work
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise confidently with clients and colleagues
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple deadlines
  • Some experience in other taxes would be beneficial, though not essential
