Administrator wanted (Financial sector)

A leading debt recovery business is rapidly expanding and have an opportunity for an Administrator to help strengthen their appeals team located in Sheffield.

Permanent/Full Time.

The role will include:

  • Processing of inbound posts and uploading to our case management system, including returned mail
  • Franking and sending outbound post
  • Applying cheque payments to our case management system and posting them to our bank
  • Maintain case management system with a range of types of updates, including actions requested by our clients
  • Printing legal documentation for our legal team
  • Sending out invoices to our clients
  • Reviewing closed accounts where correspondence is received to decide on whether action is required or not
  • Reviewed accounts where correspondence received to highlight complaints and subject access
  • requests to the appropriate teams
  • Reviewing accounts flagged as conflict of interests
  • Locating accounts where unverified correspondence is received and uploading to the case
  • Bespoke process for a large client to create a new account on their case management system once we have entered judgment against the customer
  • Admin support for the remainder of the Client Services team, plus our legal team and collection team as required
  • Handling deliveries, visitors to the office, and distribution of stationary

To be successful, you don't have to have previous experience, however, you do need to demonstrate:

  • Great written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivation and an ability to manage your own workload
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Accuracy and strong attention to detail
  • The ability to work quickly and accurately
  • Sound IT skills - using Outlook, Excel and Word
