V-Recruit are currently recruiting a School Receptionist to start work at a busy secondary school in Sheffield, with start dates as soon as possible.

This is potentially a temp to perm role, working on the busy Visitor Reception. Your duties will include taking and fielding all incoming telephone calls, and managing all visitor sign ins, and meet and greets.

Along with the school administrator, you will also be responsible for the booking and preparation of meeting rooms, ensuring messages and enquiries are passed on to the correct people and any safeguarding concerns are handled with absolute discretion and accuracy.

Starting as soon as possible, working hours will be 8am-4pm, Monday to Friday with 30 minutes lunch each day.

This role is term time only, so school holiday shut down periods will not be worked.

This is a temporary position, 1 years work, potential to become ongoing

11.50 per hour, weekly pay whilst working through agency.

Candidates should have excellent communication skills, be organised and able to remain calm in a busy environment. Strong IT skills specifically in Microsoft Office are essential. Training will be provided on the school management information system.

The successful candidates will be a team player with a proactive approach to work.

Due to the nature of the role, you must have Enhanced DBS, ideally with a subscription to the DBS Update Service.

Previous knowledge of Safeguarding Procedures is essential, as is some experience working within a school environment.
