The Role:

  • Conduct high-quality and child-centred assessments
  • Supporting families experiencing a range of complex difficulties
  • Write comprehensive and evidence-based reports
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community resources
  • Support children and their families to achieve positive outcomes
  • Having a responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.

Our Ideal Candidate will :

  • Be a qualified Social Worker and registered with Social Work England

Have experience and be passionate about working with children and their families and want to make a positive difference.

  • Be capable of accurate reporting and have the confidence to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences.
  • Be able to organise your daily workload independently and prioritise competing demands with support.
  • Be able to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, acting professionally, respectfully and tactfully when dealing with areas of sensitivity and potential conflict or disagreement.
  • Have a genuine desire to improve lives and promote self-esteem
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and empathy
  • Be resilient and able to stay calm under pressure
  • Knowledgeable about relevant legislation and social theory
  • Work as part of a team - bringing energy and enthusiasm to the role
  • Be willing to learn and go the extra mile
