An innovative, technology driven, Structural Engineering Consultancy that operates across the UK, specialising in Structural Inspections, Surveys and Design are looking for an Associate Director to join their Senior Management Team out of their Sheffield office. They're looking for an experienced individual with extensive experience in structural design of buildings. They offer a variety of excellent work and lifestyle benefits, along with hybrid working options and a competitive salary of up to £75,000 DOE.
Associate Director Position Remuneration

Associate Director Position Overview
- Member of the Senior Management Team
- Technical lead of the nationwide design team
- Day to day operational lead for the design team
- Mentoring team members towards Chartership and beyond
- Design of structures and approvals for others' designs
- Preparation of fee proposals
- Assisting in strategic direction of the design team
- Attending Client meetings
- Carrying out site inspections, where required
- Driving profitability of the team
- Active business development
- Assisting in the recruitment process for new technical staff
Associate Director Position Requirements
- Degree qualified Civil/Structural Engineer
- Extensive structural design experience
- Chartered Civil/Structural Engineer MIStructE or MICE
- Historic Buildings experience is advantageous
- Multi-storey building design experience
- Proficient in most building materials
- Expert Witness experience would be desirable
- Remedial works for buildings insurance
