Are you passionate about quality, compliance, and continuous improvement? We're looking for a Quality Engineer to help maintain and enhance our quality standards, processes, and accreditations.
You'll be a key point of contact for quality across the business, ensuring we meet important KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). As quality requirements in manufacturing are constantly evolving, experience with quality systems such as ISO9001, AS9100, AS13100, and Nadcap is essential.
A significant part of this role involves continuous improvement, giving you the opportunity to review, update, and enhance quality processes, making a real impact on the business.
Key Responsibilities
路 Manage and improve the Non-Conformance Register, ensuring minimal NCR dwell time.
路 Lead root cause analysis using methods such as 3C's, 5WHY's, and 8D's.
路 Assist in maintaining Nadcap and customer accreditations.
路 Conduct internal audits and perform quality spot checks on work in progress.
路 Handle and analyse quality data for internal and external reporting.
What do you need to succeed at IFA?
路 A highly motivated Quality Engineer with a strong understanding of engineering procedures.
路 Career experience within a Manufacturing, Heavy Process, CNC or similar environment.
路 Qualified to HNC, HND or similar Qualifications, a Six Sigma Green belt would be advantageous.
路 Ability to communicate and present to all levels of the business.
路 A team player with excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
