Job Summary
Be the primary point of contact for our oil & gas and aerospace customers. The main focus of the role is to build and strengthen customer relationships to achieve long-term partnerships and to maximise commercial opportunities, by providing excellent customer service.
Main Duties and Responsibilities • Be the main customer contact for allocated accounts • Plan and attend customer visits and trade shows, both UK and abroad • Be able to manage other sector/ customer accounts to provide holiday and sickness cover • The ability to work in in an autonomous fashion • Generation of business through the conversion of enquiries into order and the promotion of the company in the marketplace
• Development of key accounts and customer partnerships along with maintaining a high level of customer service • Maximise order value, frequency, profit and payment terms • Be able to identify business development opportunities • Achieving and exceeding sales targets and meeting department objectives • Administration of enquiries, quotations and order entry • Liaising with Customers, Field Sales, Planning, Production, Quality and Technical • Periodically attend customer visits, exhibitions, and networking events • Undertaking sales order review procedures • Producing and issuing order status reports • Producing sales reports • Have a good understanding of engineering markets and production processes
• The ability to understand engineering drawings and technical specifications • Assisting the Commercial Manager with marketing activities including, LinkedIn posts, website updates and promotional campaigns • Using Microsoft Office application including Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook Skills Experience and Qualification • Proven experience in selling in the Oil and Gas segments • Evidence of successful sales experience on industry related products •Â
Please also note that the role also includes a bonus of up to 10% paid quarterly.
