We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join a lovely finance team based in Sheffield.
Role responsibilities include:
- Invoice and payment processing.
- Reconciling supplier statements with the companies accounts.
- Investigating and resolving any discrepancies between supplier invoices and payments, liaising with suppliers as necessary.
- Responding to internal and external queries related to accounts payable.
- Collaborating with other departments to resolve invoice discrepancies or missing documentation.
- Supporting the month end routine, ensuring all payables are recorded.
- Maintaining good relationships with suppliers, addressing payment related issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensuring supplier details, (banking and contact information) are accurately recorded and updated.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Attention to detail, organisational skills, communication skills, numerical skills, IT proficiency.
- Sage business cloud
- Excel
