Elevation Recruitment is excited to be working with a steel forgings and castings engineering company in Sheffield to recruit a Vertical Borer to join their expanding team.
Vertical Borer
- Contract: Permanent
- Hours: 40 per week
- Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday 6am-4pm / Monday to Thursday 8pm – 6am
- Salary: £32,490 - £39,967
- Location: Sheffield
Key Responsibilities:
- At least 3 years of experience in precision machining as a Vertical Borer
- Hands on experience with Fanuc or Siemens control.
- Experienced in setting and operating machines.
Requirements:
- Must be able to read complex engineering drawings.
- Ideally apprenticeship trained with NVQ level 3 or higher.
- Background in relevant industries such as nuclear, power generation, or aerospace, with experience working to high precision tolerances will be advantageous.
