• Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs around the school to ensure the premises are in excellent condition.
• Security: Oversee the security of the school, including opening and closing the premises, and ensuring all facilities are locked and secure at the end of each day.
• Health & Safety: Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, identifying and addressing any potential hazards.
• Cleaning & Upkeep: Supervise cleaning staff and manage the upkeep of the school grounds, ensuring a clean and safe environment for all.
• Contractor Liaison: Oversee and coordinate with external contractors for larger maintenance projects, ensuring work is completed to a high standard.

• Previous experience in a similar caretaking or maintenance role.
• A strong work ethic and a proactive approach to tasks.
• Basic DIY skills and the ability to carry out minor repairs.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• A commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff.
