We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled chef who specialises in fresh pasta dishes and handmade pizzas. This role is perfect for a chef eager to make their own mark and bring their creative ideas to life. You will have the exciting opportunity to design weekly specials, experimenting with flavours, seasonal ingredients, and innovative presentations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare fresh pasta and handmade pizzas daily, maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Develop and create unique weekly specials that showcase your creativity and passion for Italian cuisine.
Work with locally sourced, seasonal ingredients to enhance our menu.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
Manage inventory and order ingredients as needed to ensure a well-stocked kitchen.
Stay up-to-date with food trends, particularly within Italian cuisine, to inspire new dishes.
Ensure consistency in taste, portion size, and presentation across all dishes.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a chef specializing in pasta and pizza.
Expertise in making fresh pasta and dough from scratch.
Creative and passionate about experimenting with new recipes and ingredients.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
