We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to manage and grow sales within a specified region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales, account management, and business development within the automation, security, or related industry. This role requires an individual who can build strong relationships with existing clients while identifying and converting new business opportunities.
Description

Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets across Yorkshire, East Midlands and East Anglia

Manage and grow relationships with existing customers, including distributors, installers, and system integrators.

Identify and develop new business opportunities through proactive outreach and networking.

Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for clients and stakeholders.

Provide expert advice and solutions to customers regarding automation and access control products.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales strategy.

Work closely with the internal sales, technical support, and marketing teams to enhance customer experience.

Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote our client's offering

Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
Profile

Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development, preferably in construction, automation, security, or access control industries.

Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and customer relationship management.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to work independently.

Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn about automation products.

Ability to travel within the assigned region and occasionally nationwide.

Full UK driving licence.
