UK Business Development Manager  £50,000 - £60,000 + 20% Bonus + Car Home-based with UK travel Elevation Recruitment are working with a global plastic packaging manufacturing company, where you will play a key role to expand their business within the UK. Our client sells custom-designed products predominantly into Food and Beverage manufacturers, so the ideal candidate will come from industries related to Packaging or F&B manufacturing. This is a key role so we need someone with bags of energy and self-motivation!

Main responsibilities:

  • Developing new business opportunities and extending the existing customers portfolio
  • Selling the full range of products in all market segments integrating a real industrial and lobby approach
  • Ensuring the development of strategic accounts
  • Being able to uncover, built and justify customer needs
  • Preparing quotes, working closely with the engineering department

Requirements:

  • A proven track record in B2B sales within a manufacturing group
  • Be able to identify opportunities, develop leads, close deals
  • Cultural awareness, flexible with high reactivity
  • An excellent communicator and great people skills, with the ability to work on own initiative
  • In depth understanding of commercial drivers and the ability to apply
  • Driven to succeed and highly self-motivated while working within a European sales team
  • A full clean driving licence
