Client Details

Our client is a leading plastics solutions manufacturing, used across a number of industries such as Environment, Food and Beverage manufacturing, Agriculture and logistics. They are seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team and drive growth amongst Local Authority and Public Sector relationships.

As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for delivering growth across your region, working with a multi-million pound portfolio of customers whilst seeking to win new customers through bids and tenders.

Description

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the plastics injection moulding industry across accounts of varying sizes
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within the environmental sector.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
  • Promote our client's range of environmental solutions for Local Authorities
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Develop tailored proposals and presentations to win new contracts.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the division.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as engineering, planning, production, and quality assurance, to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and generate lead

Profile

  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, Account Manager, Sales executive or a relevant role
  • Experience working with sizeable contracts for Local Councils and Public Sector
  • Experience working within the plastics industry would also be beneficial
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships (internally and externally) at all levels
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise and meet multiple deadlines whilst maintaining excellent levels of attention to detail
  • Ability to collate, monitor and report on information in an effective manner to a range of stakeholders
  • Ability to utilise Microsoft Office suite of packages, with knowledge and experience using CRM systems
