This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to join a market leading PE backed manufacturing business as they look to recruit this newly created role. Your will be responsible for business development activities and driving growth. This role will suit someone who has proven business development experience with a results-driven mindset. Responsibilities:
  • Identifying and qualifying leads, conducting thorough research via platforms such as Glenigan and direct outreach via calls and LinkedIn
  • Providing qualified leads and relevant sales tools to customers to help them convert opportunities
  • Building robust relationships with key decision-makers
  • Using CRM to track and manage all leads, ensuring accurate data entry and smooth progression through the pipeline
  • Collaborating with distributors to ensure active pursuit and conversion of leads into sales
  • Acting as the main contact for customer branches
  • Conducting market mapping and gather insights to support distributor success and competitiveness
  • Monitoring and reporting on lead conversion rates and sales outcomes
  • Supporting the development and expansion of the business development team
Skills & experience Required:
  • Proven Business Development experience
  • Results driven mindset with the ambition to grow into a leadership role
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Highly organised
  • Experience with lead generation platforms such as Glenigan
