Job Opportunity: Dealer Development & Key Account ManagerRole Overview:As a Dealer Development and Key Account Manager, you will take charge of your designated territory, ensuring profitability and exceeding customer expectations. This role involves driving dealer performance, supporting sales growth, and managing relationships across the Turfcare portfolio. Candidates should be based north of the Birmingham area, (M6, top of M1) or around the Sheffield/Manchester area. The role will cover territory from Birmingham to Northumberland, across into Wales and Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man

You will actively engage with the dealer network to support sales efforts, identify opportunities, and ensure outstanding customer service delivery. Leveraging your communication and negotiation skills, you will maintain and enhance the reputation of the business and its brands while fostering growth and excellence within your region.Using your coaching abilities, you will motivate dealer partners, uphold company standards, and promote teamwork to achieve business objectives, elevate customer satisfaction, and drive profitability.

Key Responsibilities:Territory Management:

  • Lead all aspects of your region's operations, providing vision, leadership, and management.
  • Identify and capitalise on commercial opportunities, pushing them forward with determination.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and dealers.
  • Act with initiative to achieve and exceed sales targets and business objectives.
  • Troubleshoot challenges and develop innovative solutions for dynamic market conditions.

Sales & Margin Performance:

  • Align regional networks to drive sales performance through effective communication and analysis.
  • Manage marketing activities, including enhancing online customer interactions.
  • Ensure compliance with Dealer Agreements, stocking plans, and demonstration kit requirements.

Customer Relationships:

  • Build partnerships with key accounts to foster mutual growth.
  • Lead a customer-focused culture where customer satisfaction is the top priority.
  • Resolve customer complaints equitably and maintain a premier reputation for service excellence.
  • Inspire and engage teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Communication & Collaboration:

  • Serve as the central point for sales and operational communication to ensure seamless service.
  • Conduct structured meetings with Dealer Principals, Sales Managers, and sales teams to outline objectives and track progress.
  • Tailor communication strategies to engage effectively with diverse audiences.

Planning & Prioritisation:

  • Develop short- and medium-term plans to enhance dealer profitability and aftermarket performance.
  • Create annual plans incorporating critical timelines and contingencies.
  • Ensure sales and customer service levels remain the highest priorities.
