Export Sales Manager - Scientific Equipment

Job Overview
Taylorollinson are working with a well-renowned scientific equipment manufacturer who are seeking a results-driven Export Sales Manager to expand their international market reach and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have experience in international sales, excellent negotiation skills and a background working with laboratory equipment/scientific products.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in international markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with overseas clients, distributors, and partners.
- Develop and implement export sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and understand industry trends.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of sales with international buyers.
- Ensure compliance with export regulations, trade laws, and documentation requirements.
- Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Attend international trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events.
- Monitor competitor activity and provide insights for business growth.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience working in B2B sales and distribution or export sales for a scientific equipment company
- Proven experience in export sales, international business, or global trade.
- Strong understanding of international trade regulations and export documentation.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to travel internationally as required.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in multiple languages would be beneficial
