My Client, a market leading, multidisciplinary Engineering and Environmental Consultancy, is searching for an Assistant Drainage Engineer to join their Flood Risk Team based in Sheffield.

This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join a friendly team of Engineers to complete Flood Risk, Sewerage and Drainage Projects for Water Companies across the UK.

As an Assistant Drainage Engineer you will join a supportive team and receive expert training to complete technical work including;

-Flood Risk Assessments for flood zone 1,2 and 3.

-Flood Risk Mapping using ArcGIS.

-Flood Consequence Assessments.

-Drainage Strategies and Drainage Design using Infodrainage and Causeway Flow.

-Sewerage, pipeline and CSO design using AutoCAD.

-Waste water treatment design for Water Companies.

It is essential that applicants have a strong BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering, Environmental Management, Hydrology or Civil Engineering and experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing drainage strategies and design using Infodrainage, Flow or AutoCAD.

It is essential for applicants to reside locally and have a keen interest in Civil Engineering, Flood Risk Assessments or Flood Consequence Assessments.
