About the Role:
Join our team as a Rail Civils Design Engineer and work on major rail infrastructure projects, delivering civil engineering solutions within the railway sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop civil engineering designs for rail projects, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and design assessments.
- Prepare design calculations, drawings, and reports.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for project integration.
- Ensure compliance with Network Rail and Eurocode standards.
- Provide technical input and manage design risks.
- Support technical documentation and design reviews.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master's in Civil Engineering.
- Chartered or working towards Chartered status (ICE or equivalent).
- Experience in rail civil engineering design with a Tier 1 contractor or consultancy.
- Knowledge of rail infrastructure, track, drainage, and structures.
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D, etc.).
- Understanding of Network Rail standards and Eurocodes.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
