CNC Manual Machinist

We are looking for skilled Manual Machinists to join our team, machining centrifugally spun castings for the Aerospace and Power Generation industries. While time-served experience is preferred, it is not essential. You will be working with a variety of stainless alloys, ensuring precision and high-quality machining.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Machine large castings to precise specifications and tolerances.
  • Operate manual machines, including lathes and vertical borers.
  • Meet production deadlines efficiently without compromising on quality.
  • Conduct visual inspections of machined castings to ensure accuracy.
  • Properly label swarf drums for correct alloy identification.
  • Work both independently and as part of a collaborative team with minimal supervision.
  • Adhere to safety standards and company procedures at all times.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of machining experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings for precise component production.
  • Skilled in working to tight tolerances and using measuring equipment accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality standards.
  • Capable of working under pressure and meeting strict deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with a team-oriented mindset.
  • Flexible approach to work, including overtime and shift work when required.
  • Solid understanding of health & safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality control processes.
