Elevation Recruitment Group’s Engineering & Manufacturing division is delighted to be working exclusively with a prestigious aerospace business based in South Yorkshire.CNC Turner

Location: South YorkshireSalary: £32,266 + Shift Allowance + Overtime AvailableShifts: Two-shift pattern (6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm) with the potential for a night shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC Turning machine to manufacture precision gas turbine components
• Read and Interpret engineering drawings 
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work routines to meet production targets
• Carry out Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) to maintain equipment performance
• Conduct inspections using CMM and manual measuring tools
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment

What We’re Looking For:

• Essential:
  • CNC Turning and Manual Turning experience
  • Proficiency with measuring equipment (e.g., Verniers, Gauges, Micrometers)
  • Ability to interpret SOPs, technique sheets, drawings, and specifications
  • Relevant CNC operation qualifications or extensive industry experience
• Desirable:
  • Experience in the aerospace or a similar high-precision industry
  • Knowledge of HSE principles, SOP development, and basic Continuous Improvement (CI) methodologies
