Elevation Recruitment is currently working with a Sheffield-based manufacturer to recruit a General Skilled Machinist for their Machine Shop.
- Location: Sheffield
- Salary: £26,897.52 - £31,188.04 DOE
- Shift Pattern: Days (Afters may be required as needed)
- Machining components to precise specifications.
- Operating CNC Lathe, CNC Grinding, and Surface Grinding machines.
- Using measuring equipment, including micrometers, verniers, CMM, and optical measuring tools.
- Following safety protocols and ensuring all products are machined to the provided work instructions.
- Completing all documentation accurately.
- Keeping the machine area clean, tidy, and organised.
- Complying with all health and safety policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
- A background in engineering or machining, with the flexibility to work across multiple machining disciplines.
- Experienced in CNC Lathe, CNC Grinding, and Surface Grinding.
- Confident in the use of measuring equipment.
- Apprenticeship-trained or time-served in a similar role.
