Lead Engineer - Electronics, Firmware and Systems

Hybrid - On-site days will be spent in Sheffield

£65,000 - £70,000 + Benefits

Zenovo are current recruiting for a Lead Engineer to assist one of our customers with development and delivery of projects across the companies existing and new product ranges.

Our customer are ideally looking for someone with a background in electronics, firmware or systems engineering as well as exposure to high-speed analogue and digital systems design

This role will involve you leading engineering efforts, managing projects, and driving innovation.

Responsibilities include:

  • System-level engineering projects combining electronics, hardware, firmware, and software
  • Translating requirements into actionable engineering specifications.
  • Overseeing prototypes, new products, and demo platforms
  • Managing project budgets, timelines, and risks
  • Championing the design and development process for new modules

Key skills/experience:

  • A background in electronics, firmware or systems engineering
  • Experience in high-speed analogue and digital systems design
  • Proven expertise in design and development
  • 3+ years of engineering project management experience
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in budget/resource planning
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
