We are looking for two skilled Detailers/Draughtsmen to join our clients in-house design team on a defence-related project. If you are proficient in Siemens NX and eager to work alongside a highly experienced team, this is your chance to contribute to a prestigious defence project.
This is a contract role initially for up to 6 months but may be extended
Candidates must have Expertise in Siemens NX for CAD detailing and draughting with a background working on medium to heavy fabricated products.
This will be based on site in Sheffield therefore candidates must be willing to work on site 5 days per week.
Key Requirements:
- Production of high-quality engineering drawings, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
- Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of engineering drawing projects
- Conduct quality assurance (QA/QC) checks across engineering CAD deliverables.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to resolve design issues and ensure feasibility.
- Assist in developing CAD systems, best practices, and drawing office procedures.
- Manage document control processes, including drawing file management and transmittals.
Key Requirements:
- HNC/HND or equivalent in Engineering.
- Extensive knowledge Siemens NX
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
- Full UK driving license.
