Sellick Partnership are looking to appoint to a Finance Accounting Lead for our Public Sector client in Sheffield.
Purpose of the Job - Finance Accounting Lead:
- To support the Accountancy Manager in proactively contributing towards the efficient and effective delivery of the organisations strategic objectives
- Responsible for the preparation of draft statutory accounts, fixed assets accounting and treasury management in compliance with relevant accounting and treasury management codes of practice
Key Responsibilities - Finance Accounting Lead:
- Develop and improve the financial management, control and reporting process
- Produce Annual Statement of Accounts
- Maintaining an internal financial control, policy and procedural framework
- To manage and maintain the Fixed Asset Register
- Lead on year-end procedures and processes
- Treasury Management
Person Specification- Finance Accounting Lead:
- Fully qualified is desirable
- Public Sector experience is ideal but not essential
- Statement of Accounts experience
