The Role:

Our client is looking to recruit a highly organised and experienced AutoCAD Technician in Sheffield.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The design, development, and delivery of AutoCAD drawings, providing technically sound engineering solutions.
  • Production of General Arrangement Drawings.
  • Administration and custodian of Engineering Records.
  • Asset Management and BOM structure development.
  • Liaising with external suppliers and contractors to provide solutions to production and engineering challenges.
  • Development of plant drawings to improve performance and reliability.
  • Understanding and interpreting drawing and specifications to resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and problems as they arise.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to define project requirements and objectives.
  • Participate in meetings and discussions with stakeholders to provide updated on project status.
  • Maintenance of Design Change Registers and ensuring appropriate levels of configuration control are applied.
  • Well-developed time management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook
