Elevation Recruitment Group are working with one of the Uk largest distributors of welding tubes and steel grading to recruit an Auto CAD Technician to join their team in Sheffield.This will be to support the engineering project department in the delivery of major investment and capital projects.Your role will be to produce and modify drawings with AutoCAD and provide asset management, control of engineering records, and management of site drawings. The duties of the Project Auto CAD Techitan will include;

  • The design, development, and delivery of AutoCAD drawings, providing technically sound engineering solutions.
  • Production of General Arrangement Drawings.
  • Administration and custodian of Engineering Records.
  • Asset Management and BOM structure development.
  • Liaising with external suppliers and contractors to provide solutions to production and engineering challenges.
  • Development of plant drawings to improve performance and reliability.
  • Understanding and interpreting drawings and specifications to resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and problems as they arise.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Autodesk Vault Pro (Preferred but not essential)
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook
