Elevation IT are looking for a skilled and motivated IT Support Engineer to join our clients Sheffield based IT team!

Location: Sheffield Centre (Hybrid)Salary: £30,000 - £35,000Working Hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm

In this role, you will play a key part in providing technical support and ensuring the smooth running of all IT systems. If you have a passion for technology, experience in a Microsoft Windows environment, and a strong understanding of IT security and legislation, this opportunity could be for you.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line and second-line IT support across the organization.
  • Manage, deploy, and maintain Microsoft Windows 10/11 environments.
  • Administer and support Microsoft Office 365 (Exchange, Teams, Azure, Endpoint Management, AAD, Security and Compliance).
  • Ensure effective deployment of software, security patches, and system updates.
  • Manage IT security, aligning with industry standards, including Cyber Essentials.
  • Administer Cisco switches, routers, and cloud telephone systems.
  • Ensure compliance with IT legislation, including the Data Protection Act, GDPR, and the Computer Misuse Act.
  • Support in managing licenses and ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations in IT usage.

We are keen to speak with IT support professional with the following skills and experience:

  • Substantial experience in a Microsoft Windows environment.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Windows 10/11 desktop environments.
  • Strong knowledge and proven experience of Microsoft Office 365 suite.
  • Familiarity with ITIL Service Management principles.
  • Deep understanding of IT legislation (Data Protection Act, GDPR, Computer Misuse Act).
  • Proven ability to deploy Windows operating systems and manage security patches.
  • Sound knowledge of IT security standards, including Cyber Essentials.
  • Experience administering Cisco switches, routers, and cloud telephone systems.
