I am working for one of the fastest growing national contractors who look to add a Bid Manager to their Sheffield team. This role comes with the opportunity to progress into more senior positions within the organisation, as they have a large and growing client base within social housing. Description

  • Develop winning 'quality' bid submissions.
  • Manage the process of bidding for and securing tendered opportunities
  • Maintain information to aid future bids
  • Work with Regional Directors and their teams to support bids
  • Liaison with the internal bid team including our Design Manager
  • Managing internal and externalrelationships with third parties
  • Reporting progress and issues to the HoB
  • Production of bidprogrammes and action plans
  • Increasing understanding of market and positions in the sector
  • Offer assistance, support and mentoring to other team members

Profile

  • Industry specific knowledge
  • Proven track record in the housing sector
  • Previous experience in a similar role of one or more of the following products planned and / or responsive maintenance and retrofit / sustainability
  • High level of interpersonal skills
  • Good at developing relationships
  • Able to communicate at all levels
  • Proven project management skills
