Junior Acoustics Consultant

My client is an experienced consultancy that specialises in noise and vibration, with expertise in environmental acoustics, building acoustics, and related areas. All employees are encouraged to become associate members of the IOA. They work on a range of projects assisting clients in achieving compliance with British and international standards.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in acoustic engineering or a related field is a mandatory prerequisite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Membership with the Institute of Acoustics (IOA) is highly advantageous.
  • Possession of a valid UK driving licence.
  • Practical experience in sound and noise surveying.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Conducting in-depth noise and vibration surveys and evaluations using advanced modelling software.
  • Gathering and analysing pertinent assessment data to create detailed technical reports.
  • Maintaining consistent communication with key stakeholders throughout the project's duration.
  • Working together with cross-functional teams, as needed, to ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
