Junior Acoustic Consultant

My client operates as a well-established consultancy firm, specialising in providing comprehensive services for environmental, regeneration, and development projects. Their expertise extends to a diverse range of sectors, encompassing residential, commercial, and industrial projects, as well as solar initiatives, care home facilities, and hospitals.

Requirements:

  • A BSc and/or an MSc in Acoustics or a related field
  • Accredited diploma from the IOA
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Experience in working in the acoustics sector and conducting on-site assessments
  • Valid driver's licence and personal vehicle

Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior team members on site to ensure timely completion of work and prevent testing delays
  • Conduct noise and vibration testing, collect assessment data, and compile it into a preparatory report
  • Ensure that work is conducted in accordance with British Standards to facilitate successful project inspections
  • Travel to various sites with necessary equipment and set up on-site in compliance with health and safety regulations
