Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you’ll be responsible for the repair and planned maintenance of injection moulding machines, plant facilities, and other equipment. You’ll also have the opportunity to get involved in continuous improvement projects and, if suitably qualified, development engineering work.

This is a Panama 12-hour rotating days/nights pattern, so a flexible, 'can-do' attitude is essential.

The ideal candidate will ideally be apprentice-trained with experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment. You should be a team player with excellent communication skills, IT literacy, and either mechanically or electrically biased with strong knowledge of the opposite discipline.

Key skills and knowledge:

• Pneumatics
• Electrical controls and circuits
• Hydraulics
• Bench fitting
• Injection moulding machine maintenance
• Milling and turning
• PPM (planned preventive maintenance)
• PLC programming/interrogation (advantageous but not essential)
• Electrical fault finding
