A leading international manufacturer of precision-engineered components and systems for critical applications are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer. This company operates globally and serves key markets, including the petrochemical industry, by delivering high-quality products with fast lead times, supported by a strong customer service focus.

Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to support the Maintenance Supervisor in ensuring both electrical and mechanical compliance across operations. This role involves system installation, maintenance, and efficient management of breakdowns and planned activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to safety standards and procedures in all activities, conducting thorough risk assessments before beginning any tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Respond to both electrical and mechanical breakdowns and faults, efficiently managing planned and reactive work.
  • Perform electrical installation tasks as needed.
  • Utilise data and systems to manage the site's electrical and control systems.
  • Coordinate with and assist in managing third-party contractors.
  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels to ensure effective communication and collaboration.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Recognised apprenticeship in mechanical or electrical maintenance.
  • Knowledge of plant control and experience with PLC and control systems (preferred).
  • Strong fault-finding abilities in mechanical systems.
  • Computer literate and enthusiastic with good interpersonal skills, capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
