Registered Nurse (Nights Only)
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £25 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join a new team in Sheffield, offering a competitive hourly rate of £25. This role will follow a rolling rota, with longer shifts initially to meet service needs as the team expands. The service will have a limited number of service users, allowing for focused, high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

Support with medical needs, including catheter care, stoma care, and medicated patch application/disposal.
Provide assistance with prosthetics, simple dressings, and urinary output monitoring.
Ensure adherence to best practices in nutrition, hydration, mobility, and fall prevention.
Collaborate with MDTs for end-of-life care and complex health tasks.
Maintain hygiene, skin integrity, and continence care with dignity and respect.
Handle specialized care such as PEG feeding, tracheostomy care, and ventilator support, as trained.
Support moving and handling, ensuring safety and adherence to plans developed with OTs.
Monitor respiratory changes and escalate appropriately for equipment like nebulizers or oxygen therapy.

Requirements:

Nurse qualification with valid NMC registration.
Experience in complex care environments and delegated healthcare activities.
Competency in tasks such as subcutaneous injections, suctioning, and tracheostomy care (training provided where required).
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
