Sales Estimator

Job Overview:
The Sales Estimator will play a key role in preparing accurate cost estimates, proposals, and quotes for machinery manufacturing projects. This contract position involves collaboration with sales, engineering, and production teams to ensure competitive and profitable pricing that meets customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess customer requirements, drawings, and specifications to develop project estimates.
• Calculate material, labor, and production costs to prepare competitive pricing.
• Collaborate with internal teams to refine technical specifications and timelines.
• Present and explain cost estimates to clients and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, contracts, and pricing documentation.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in cost estimation within machinery manufacturing or a similar industry.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Proficiency in estimating tools/software and understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
