Description

  • Facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo and retrospective meetings.
  • Play the role of a coach to the team, helping them to self-organise and perform at their best.
  • Identify and remove impediments that obstruct the team's pursuit of its sprint goals.
  • Protect the team from external interruptions and distractions.
  • Foster a collaborative environment where open communication and sharing of ideas is encouraged.
  • Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure the product backlog is constantly prioritised.
  • Promote and enforce the correct use of Scrum process.
  • Encourage and facilitate continuous improvement within the team.

Profile

A successful Scrum Master should have:

  • A solid understanding of and background in Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
  • Excellent leadership and teamwork skills.
  • The ability to teach and coach teams about Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
