Description
- Facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo and retrospective meetings.
- Play the role of a coach to the team, helping them to self-organise and perform at their best.
- Identify and remove impediments that obstruct the team's pursuit of its sprint goals.
- Protect the team from external interruptions and distractions.
- Foster a collaborative environment where open communication and sharing of ideas is encouraged.
- Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure the product backlog is constantly prioritised.
- Promote and enforce the correct use of Scrum process.
- Encourage and facilitate continuous improvement within the team.
Profile
A successful Scrum Master should have:
- A solid understanding of and background in Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
- Excellent leadership and teamwork skills.
- The ability to teach and coach teams about Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
