Elevation Recruitment Group’s skilled shop floor team is recruiting for a Press Toolmaker to join a global industrial manufacturer based in Sheffield. Location: SheffieldSalary: NegotiableShift Pattern: Monday - Thursday, 06:15 - 16:30

Responsibilities:
  • Manufacture new tooling in line with issued drawings
  • Carry out repairs and maintenance on multistage progression tools
  • Use a variety of machines including grinding, turning, and milling
  • Use precision measuring equipment to ensure tooling produces parts to the required tolerances
  • Conduct thorough testing of tooling before release
  • Monitor power presses during operation, identifying and resolving any issues
  • Assess press tool lifespan and arrange for replacements or new part fabrication
  • Replace pilots, probe pins, and springs, designing and making specialist fixtures as required
  • Adhere strictly to Health & Safety regulations at all times
Skills & Experience:
  • Time served or apprenticeship trained in similar role 
  • Hands on experience with Milling, Turning, Grinding & Erosion tools 
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive for excellence
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong coordination and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
