Time Recruitment are currently recruitng experienced Manual Machinist with Horizontal Borer experience for our reputable client based in Sheffield. Our Client is a leading engineering company in there sector and have a full order book for 2025. Our client are continuing to grow and this is a great opportunity for the right candidate to grow with the business. As a Manual Machinist, you will play a key role in producing high-quality machined parts, including setting up and operating horizontal boring machines to meet precise specifications. You will work with a variety of materials and components, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in every part you produce. Duties of this role will include:

  • Working to engineeering drawings
  • Set up and operate Horizontal boring machines
  • Performing Routine Maintenance
  • Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials for each job
  • Performing quality checks
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work station

The successful candidate must:

  • Have a minimum of 2 years experience
  • Be a team player
  • Be a great communicator
  • Be able to interpret engineering drawings
  • Be able set to and operate machinery.
