REED Engineering & Manufacturing are working with a leading Engineering and Manufacturing company

Production Manager - Vehicle related Fabrication.

Working for a leading vehicle fabricator, you will have experience of managing a production team ranging from production to quality as well as dealing on site productivity.

Reporting into the MD and Ops Director, you will be self motivated with a can do attitude, as well having strong problem solving skills and delivering strong customer satisfaction within the company.

Job Description :
* Manage the day to day running of the Fabrication Shop/ busy factory. Assisting with aspects of jobs in all disciplines when required to do so (Hands on role)
* Ensure all equipment required to carry out work effectively is available, and that equipment is maintained in good working order and meets with all necessary QA and H & S compliance
* Ensure that all work areas are kept clean, tidy and well organised.
* Ensure working procedures are followed at all times and that each job has the correct material, tooling, customer information, paperwork and that all previous operations have been signed off. Promote best method of manufacture to improve efficiencies at all times
* To control and manage the Fabrication Shop/Factory to ensure the correct standard of work is achieved and on time deliveries are met whilst promoting a right first-time culture

Candidate Required Skills
* Demonstrable experience in a similar lead role within a Welding / Fabrication based environment would be highly advantageous
* Past experience in fabrication within the vehicle sector would be highly advantageous
* Strong Man Managements Skills
* Strong Communication skills - Both written and Verbal
