Elevation HR are delighted to be working on behalf of one of our Sheffield based professional services clients to identify a strong Interim HR Advisor to join their HR team. The role is to cover maternity for a period of 12 months in the first instance.

The role offers hybrid working 50/50 home/office, based in Sheffield with occasional travel to other UK offices.

Operating as part of the UK HR team and reporting into a Snr HRBP, this role is extremely varied and will involve:

  • Providing comprehensive HR support for the full spectrum of the employee lifecycle, with a key emphasis on employee relations and support
  • Supporting on ER, grievance disciplinaries, performance management, absence management, flexible working requests, maternity/paternity leave
  • Working closely with key internal stakeholders, coaching and mentoring managers across a wide range of people issues, including performance management, succession planning etc
  • Driving forward continuous improvement, updating policies and procedures as well as undertaking cyclical HR activities such as reward and performance reviews

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong track record and time served in a generalist HR experience, particular employee relations and performance management, in order to be able to advise and guide on a range of employment issues
  • Strong level of employment law and legislative knowledge
  • The ability to build solid relationships, with confident and articulate communication skills at all level of stakeholder
  • Excellent coaching and influencing skills, being able to articulate best practice HR successfully
