Account Manager / Business Development Engineer / Sales Engineer / Account Development Manager / Sales Executive required to join a global leader in engineering simulation software and CAD software.

The successful Business Development Engineer / Sales Engineer / Account Development Manager / Sales Executive / Account Manager will have a Degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, electronic, aerospace, automotive, manufacturing, physics, technology or similar) and some sales experience within a solution based, software or technical product.

Knowledge of engineering software or a hardware / software product such as industrial software, PLCs, Controls, CAD software, Simulation software, Metrology software, Machine tools / controls or similar is preferred.

Responsibilities
Management and development of named accounts
Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current and/orprospective customers tomaintain renewal business andgenerate new business.
Selling industry leading industrial software
Identify and position the best software solution as per customer requirements.
Engage with customers and prospects via telephone, video conference, email and LinkedIn, as well as face-to-face meetings.
Research sources for developing prospective customersand expanding existing accounts.
Provide accurate forecasts for new sales and renewal revenues.
Participates in trade shows and conventions; product training and seminars.
Creates and maintains account plans for existing customers and prospective customers, highlighting and profiling potential users and technical solutions.
Coordinate sales efforts with marketing,account team, sales management,finance,legaland technical services groups.
Office based in Sheffield when not traveling to customers

Requirements
Exposure within a sales role, including Sales Engineer, Account Development Manager, Technical Sales Executive, Account Manager, Account Representative, Business Development Engineer, Sales Manager, Sales Representative, or similar field-based sales role with an engineering Degree.
Degree in technical, engineering, mechanical, electrical, electronic, technology, software, manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, physics, or similar STEM subject
To be office-based with high levels of travel to customer sites across the UK required.
Commutable to Office in Sheffield
