Electrical Team Leader

Electrical Team Leader Position Available.

12 hour Days

42,000 per year

Role & Responsibilities:

• Lead a multidisciplinary team of skilled and apprentice craftsmen.
• Improve site performance and reliability.
• Plan labour and material requirements for plant needs.
• Delegate activities of Team Members and contractors.
• Undertake Technician role as required.
• Carry out PPM inspections.
• Coordinate and supervise other services and contractors.
• Deputise for 1st Line engineering management.
• Write and review risk assessments, method statements, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety instructions.
• Use the Maintenance management system for maintenance activities.
• A customer-focused attitude with an understanding - Manage the permitting system for the department.
• Undertake training to learn new skills.
• Involvement in plant improvement projects.
• Respond to breakdowns under own initiative.
• Deliver business communications to the team.

Knowledge & Experience Required:

• A recognised electrical engineering apprenticeship (Preferably HNC but minimum ONC level or equivalent).
• Plant engineering knowledge and experience of industrial systems such as:AC & DC circuits,Hydraulic systems,Pumps, drives, gearboxes,Robotics and PLCs
• Self-starting driven individual capable of leading a small team.
• Ability to work with cross-functional groups.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to methodically fault find any issues to root cause and front-line rectification.
