We are seeking an experienced Grant & Claims Officer for an immediate start at a council in Sheffield. This role requires a professional who can effectively manage government-funded contracts, verify financial grant claims, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Day-to-day of the role:- Manage and oversee government-funded contracts, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Check and verify financial grant claims to ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Work collaboratively within a busy team to meet deadlines and manage workflows.
- Handle a high volume of emails efficiently, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups.
- Prioritise and manage conflicting priorities effectively to maintain smooth operations.
- Proven experience in managing government-funded contracts.
- Strong capability in checking and verifying financial grant claims.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, busy team environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in managing a busy inbox and ensuring effective communication.
- Competitive hourly rate of £16.40 (PAYE) or £20.27 (Via Umbrella)
