My client is an Independent Financial Advisory firm in Sheffield seeking a Paraplanner with a strong background in Pensions and Retirement Planning.
The role involves conducting financial research, preparing reports, verifying information, and liaising with the admin team, among other responsibilities.
Candidates should have experience in Paraplanning, knowledge of UK Pension products, and proficiency in systems like Intelliflo and FE Analytics.
The position offers a competitive salary of £35,000 - £37,000 per annum and the opportunity for hybrid working.
Applicants are preferred to hold qualifications in the Financial Advice sector and should have strong organizational and communication skills.

My client is an Independent Financial Advisory firm based in Sheffield providing Financial Advice to both Businesses and individuals mainly within Pensions and Retirement Planning, but also offering holistic Financial Planning services.We are urgently seeking a career orientated Paraplanner to join the exisitingParaplanning teams in Sheffield. You will have a strong background within Pensions and Retirement Planning, specifically you;ll be responsible for:

Conducting thorough financial research and analysis using tools such as Selectapension and FE Analytics
Preparing comprehensive financial reports using Genovo report writing software
Reviewing and verify information provided by admin staff for accuracy and completeness
Liaising with admin team to gather missing information and assist with business submissions when necessary
Utilising Intelliflo back office system for client management and record-keeping
Analysing and provide recommendations for various investment vehicles, including ISAs and general investment accounts
Challenging advisers on file notes or recommendation proposals that appear unsuitable
Communicating with the compliance team regarding any concerns about advice suitability

You will have a proven track record within Paraplanning and be able to demonstrate strong skills within Pensions and Retirement Planning and will have strong knowledge of UK Pension products and regulations. You will be proficient in using systems such as Intelliflow, FE Analytics and Genovo, coupled with strong organisational and communications skills. It would be to your advantage if you do hold any qualifications within the Financial Advice sector. This role has the opportunity for Hybrid working with some time also spent in the Sheffield offices, and the candidate will have to demonstrate that they can work effectively at home and also within the office.
